Our History
Hoffman Farms was established in 1983 in the heart of Scholls, Oregon. We are first generation farmers growing different varieties of local berries and vegetables. The Hoffman Farms Store first opened in 2000 and has steadily grown each year.
In 2009 the store was relocated to a permanent location on the historic Butler/Flint Century Farm in Scholls. We chose the old milking parlor as the first phase of our project. As we expand, we will be moving and reconstructing a historic barn, adding a picnicking area, and a greenhouse, full of our own fresh produce.
In the off season phase two of our project took place. We gave the store a fresh coat of paint, constructed raised beds for our own vegetable garden and fabricated shade for the u-pickers out of an old silo. We also have added an attraction for the kids.
Throughout the season, as they become available, there are raspberries, strawberries, tayberries, and 5 varieties of blueberries all for U-pick.
